Banning dog breeds

How about just banning the owners?

Although some dogs have an aggressive nature and need more care and training, it isn’t the breed alone that causes problems, it’s the owners. Some people should never be allowed to own dogs (video about case further down) I don’t know for certain that any of these animals bit anyone but I do know one of the dogs is scared of humans and probably will be for the rest of it’s life.

Any dog can bite, even our German Shepherd-Rottweiler mix. As much as we shower love and affection on him, we have to be aware that he has the potential to bite. I’ve heard of small breeds inflicting severe damage from bites so it’s not the breed alone but also the owner.

Do we also ban other breeds such as Rottweilers, German Shepherds and Mastiffs, to name a few? I’ve heard of people even wanting to ban Siberian Huskies. Do we ban mixed-breed dogs as well, pit bull-lab, pit bull-springer spaniel? Let’s just use some common sense and take a look at how the owners are treating these animals. How about a ban on owners who mistreat their animals?

My heart goes out to victims of dog bites, especially the children. If the dogs were properly cared for we would hear less of these attacks.
