Maybe this is the way to go?

Start holding them accountable for their lies and utter babble, bring them before the courts and start sending a message to them that their comments, which perpetuate fear and mistrust of LE, will not be tolerated. Maybe this could start to change things, I don’t know.
The Roanoke officer in the article won the suit after an activist compared him to a Klansman. The activist ending up paying the officer $5000 for defamation.
And again…
Another Roanoke officer sued a critic in 1995. In that case, an officer who was accused of using excessive force, then cleared, filed a lawsuit against his accuser and won $2,500.
They seem like small amounts but it could start to send a message to those groups, who often accuse officers of wrong-doing. Maybe this is more wishful thinking but it would be good if officers could bring suits against Jesse Jacksons and Al Sharptons of this world, I’d sure like to see them held accountable for their lies and race-baiting.
Is this the way to start to change things?
Another genius sues the police
Posted: September 26, 2009 Filed under: Police, Suing Leave a comment »Another drug-brained, ACLU-directed, c-pw-tch brat sued the police. He also tried to get the officers dismissed from the force. And then he shows up on a police website insulting the officers further. There are so many things wrong with this warped kid’s attitude and behavior. I‘m so angry that I can‘t even begin to tackle all the stupid comments he made. I can’t imagine what it must be like to have a kid like this. But then again, it could be that his parents condone this type of attitude towards the police and most likely contributed to it.
Here’s a quote from junior….
the police are known for being ruthless to teens for no apparent reason, they lack any real crime to deter or stop. He goes on to say he would sue again if this arrest happened again. His whining saga continues here , as he is at it again on the site. Eighteen years old and he’s trying to get officers dismissed? I bet he has a future just filled with arrests ahead of him.
